I made an official Autumn To-Do List. The things I want to do with my family before Thanksgiving. It's mostly just silly and for fun. I've never really made a *real* to-do list for fall before but I've also never been this busy before. There are always things we know we are going to do no matter what. Things like going to the pumpkin patch or carving pumpkins. I added a few projects in there that Penelope and I can work on ...I plan on making some fun masks with her so we can play pretend. Last year I tried to bake my first pumpkin pie and I failed miserably. It's hard for me to admit that but we aren't all perfect right? I have no idea what I did wrong or how I could possibly fail at making a pumpkin pie when I can make all other pies and even pumpkin cheesecake. Oh and I make a killer pumpkin cheesecake. So why did I fail with the pumpkin pie? I have no idea...buts it's on my list and I will conquer the pumpkin pie this year. One of my good friends and I joke about putting things on our 'list.' It's weird how when you write them down and you can see them so clearly you just have to get them done. Like, no matter what. So the list has been made and fun will be had.
Okay okay...so tell me what your favorite Autumn traditions are. Maybe I'll add some to my list.
Love,
Erin
p.s. I promise to update you on my to-do list as I cross them off.
p.s.s. I know I win the award for the most awesome handwriting right? I mean, most awesome if you'r trying to write like a 14-year-old which I'm really good at, even at 27-years-old.

I definitely have to add mask making to my list! I think "going for a family walk at least 3 nights a week" is on mine... but I don't know if I can ever actually cross it out!
ReplyDeleteAwww! To make things more fun, I think you should color in your photos instead of "marking them off" as they're completed :) This is just too cute to mark up! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy fall crafting!!
This is a good idea! I never really celebrate too much during halloween because i'm always too busy studying for exams. But I'd love to do a few things this season.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute list! You're an awesome mommy. ; )
