I made the most perfect brunch mocktail this past weekend. I'm calling it 'Peach Queen' and it's more like a fuzzy navel mocktail. It's so good and it would be perfect all year long.
Ingredients:
1 part fresh orange juice (I used Simply Orange)
1 part ginger ale
5 fresh ripe peaches
(fresh raspberries for garnish)
This might sound really weird but the first thing we did was take our fresh peaches and place them in a clean dry piece of fabric. We bunched up the fabric and the peaches and squeezed the juice right into a bowl. (see the photo above). Josh helped me with this part. It's really easy, it just sounds a little different. If you have juicer then by all means, use your juicer. If not, this is an easy quick way to get fresh peach juice.
Once you get all your peach juice ready, add one part ginger ale to one part orange juice and your peaches. I used about 40 ounces of orange juice and 40 ounces of ginger ale with my five peaches. Increase peaches for a larger batch.
Serve chilled, best if you add your ginger ale right before serving. Garnish with fresh raspberries, or raspberry ice cubes (see photo below) and fresh sliced peaches.
Wanna know a quick and easy way to make your drinks all pretty? Add fresh fruit to your ice cube trays and fill with water...then freeze (duh)!! Would be perfect to put in water too.
I hope you enjoy!!
Love,
Erin

Lovin' your drink posts!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Kern's Nectar drinks before? I would maybe try that for the peach, it might not be as healthy because there is some sugar added, but man, a can of Kern's peach or apricot nectar tastes soooo amazing and is nice and thick too. It tastes like you're drinking a fresh peach! I wanna try this.
