Painting pumpkins is by no means a brand new idea...but learning how to make painted pumpkins your own can be so much fun. I love love love floral print right? I mean love it. I also love a splash of something graphic thrown right up next to floral print. I especially love wear things like this. Like a pretty striped cardigan with a full blown wild floral print dress. My fav. So I decided to incorporate some patterns and details that I love into a pretty painted pumpkin display for our front porch. I'm actually a bit of a 'loose painter' and so I just went wild with some space-y and messy brush strokes and painted a pretty teal and purple flowers all a big pumpkin. Then threw in a pretty chevron painted pumpkin and a half white scalloped pumpkin along with some pretty pretty natural ones. This project was so much fun...and it would be a great thing to do with kids and families as well. Take things that you already love and paint them right on some pumpkins... birds, hearts, polka dots. Just have fun!
Oh my goodness!! I just love Autumn...sigh.
Love,
Erin
