2 cups of sugar
3-4 tablespoons of water
4 tablespoons of butter
1 teaspoon plus one pinch of sea salt
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
Place your sugar and water a medium size pot and heat while stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Once the sugar has dissolved heat on medium and don't touch or stir it. Your sugar mixture will start to boil and turn a deep amber color (about 6-7 minutes maybe longer depending on your heat). Once it has turned a rich deep amber color mix in your butter until melted. Immediately after your butter has melted remove from heat and whisk in your heavy cream. Now stir in your salt and you are done. Serve immediately or place in small kerr canning jars and top off with some cute fabric and ribbon. You can even tie a little tag around the top with the recipe.
