For my birthday last week Josh and I went to Andolini's Pizza here in Tulsa. I had heard some good things about it and we were looking for restaurants in a specific part of town where the rest of my birthday date was happening. We thought this would be a good pick and it was! This restaurant is locally owned and is so charming inside. I really loved the atmosphere and the great conversation with Josh. So if you live in Tulsa or are ever passing through ...we recommend it.
I had half a Satriale Salad and one slice of Athenian Pizza (with Kalamata olives...my fave). I splurged a little on my birthday but was pretty good with the salad. Still working on the low GI diet to treat my PCOS but made exception for my birthday. Which reminds me I should share some low GI diet recipes with you guys soon. Especially with summer coming and all the fresh veggies and fruit. It'll be so fun. So back to the restaurant...can you see those ceiling tiles? I want them in my house. They're pretty fancy.
I think he liked even more than me. Looks like he was having a good time eh?
I just want to keep sharing some cute local places from our city and those I travel to. This is kinda fun. Except when I'm taking pictures of weird things out in public, that part I'm really shy about.
We are having the BEST time in Springfield right now and I can't wait to head down to Houston later this week. Road trips are therapeutic and instantly memory making. I cannot get enough.
