A Video Blog - Fabric Nerd

Today I'm vlogging for you to share two up coming events and a small glimpse at my new collection. Also, I'm just a dork so it's fun to see me record myself talking.

Like I mentioned in the video I'm doing my first fashion show in two weeks for Tulsa RAW Artists. I'm looking forward to it all. They will be showing all sorts of artists work from hair stylists, film makers, photographers, fashion designers, jewelry makers and more. I can't wait to see and meet all the other artists myself. If you do live in the Tulsa area and want to come to the Tulsa RAW Artist event it's on June 21st at 33forty here in Tulsa from 8-12 p.m. I'd love to meet you and anyone who comes to see the show come up and introduce yourself because I have a gift for you. It's going to be so fun. I've included some instructions on how to get your tickets. They are $10 and you can purchase them here on the RAW Artist website. Click the green 'buy tickets' button and then scroll down to choose 'Sunshine and Carousels' as the artist you are coming to see as you check out.

For those of you who aren't from the Tulsa area I'll be sharing photos from the event as soon as I can and I'll share the new collection the last week in June. Sooo excited about all the new stuff coming up.

  2. Lady! I'm totes thrilled to see you are participating in RAW! Your work is incredible and I wish I could go to your event! Tomorrow I'm showing for Solstice in Hartford Connecticut. It's also my first time doing something like this, so I'm super nervous slash uncontrollably excited. I hope your show goes smoothly!

    2. If you were looking at the colorful animal collages than yes... Most of my work is crazy bright. But I can't even begin to describe to you how incredible the event was. The turn out and feed back was outrageous! I ended up selling a good amount of pieces and left with hardly any business cards. I couldn't have asked for a better night. I can't wait to here about your event! You'll have to keep us posted!

    1. The more vlogs I make the more comfortable I feel in front of the camera. I think it's always nice to let people know what your voice sounds like and what your mannerisms are. Even if they are dorky ones like mine. :) Thanks for your sweet words.
