I have been fairly quiet here on the blog front these last few weeks but for very very good reason. We have been going through some major life changes over here. Just recently my husband has been offered a new job up in the Boston area (southern New Hampshire area) and has accepted the position. We happen to be moving really quickly, as in, the next two weeks. What are we thinking?! Life throws something at you and you deal with it right? With this new position Josh will be working towards a long term goal with his career/ministry (working at a church) and we are so excited about the opportunity. Not only did he get a job but I was offered a small part time job as well, using my degree which I'm pretty pleased about. I will work a small amount of hours at my new job which leaves me open to pursue my handmade business full time again. I'm thrilled about this because I have missed that about my life for the last 6-8 months since I've been working full time. I will have the ability to blog consistently, pursue new avenues of my business and take on some new craft shows in the area. I'm just stoked about the possibilities and the new adventure of living in New England.
It is all so exciting, however, we are so sad to say good bye to the youth kids we've been working with as well as the handmade community here in Tulsa that I've been a part of for the last three years. It is a bittersweet situation. We've been spending the last 4-5 days saying our goodbyes to people and preparing to pack as fast as we can. It's going to be the most insane three weeks of our lives. It's been a tearful exit so far but we are looking forward to what the future holds for us.
Can't wait to share the journey with you.
Love,
Erin
p.s. We just went but there the few days after they had that huge blizzard and there was sooo much snow! We also tried the best hot chocolate I've ever had in my entire life at this little Italian gelato/coffee shop...I'm so excited to find all the best local spots.

Girl I am so happy for you and your family! What a great fun new exciting adventure! Excited to see the journey and for you to get back to your handmades!

ReplyDeleteA lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and appearance. I must say that you've done
a great job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely fast for me
on Firefox. Excellent Blog!

ReplyDeleteWow, welcome to our cold neck of the woods! (Don't mind me, this Floridian is bigtime cranky in the winter) it's a fun place for families and a fun place for those who love seasons and seasonal activities! Get some snowpants pronto!
