Pop's Arcadia

We are saying our last goodbyes to Oklahoma these last couple of weeks. To friends. To places we love. To southern living. We've been trying to fit in all sorts of last minute visits to family and friends, going away parties and stopping by some new and old favorites in Tulsa and the surrounding areas.  We had the opportunity to stop by Pop's Arcadia near Oklahoma City for Valentine's day a couple of weeks ago. If you will be traveling down I-44 towards Oklahoma City you must exit Highway 66 and visit Pop's Arcadia. You cannot miss it! It looks so out of place on that simple Oklahoma highway. You are driving around watching the fields pass you by and then BAM there's a beautiful architectural building with a giant soda bottle sculpture out front. Inside they have a little modern style diner and floor to ceiling windows full of soda bottles. Those windows are beautiful. You can just pick up a bottle crate and start picking out flavors for about $10. It's pretty amazing. There are sooo many flavors of soda and old fashioned candy. Josh was having such a good time and I felt like such a winner suggesting it for our Valentine's date dinner on our way to OKC for the evening. Seriously love this place.

I cannot wait to explore New England. So many people have already recommended places for us to visit. It's going to be an adventure. Just a handful of days and we are getting on the road. It's a bittersweet week.
